Sailing conditions at Corfu

The Ionian is calmer than the Aegean in summer — the meltemi is much weaker here — but autumn and winter southerly storms can stop sailings. The short crossings (Igoumenitsa–Corfu, Kyllini–Zakynthos) are among the most reliable in Greece.
